Your Prisoner of Special Importance has died while at sea, a day after setting out from Tokyo. The Shanghai-bound shipped stopped in Miyazaki to unload the deceased individual, and we interviewed the deceased’s female companion and the temporary agent under your employ.
The police doctor confirmed the patient’s death. He was a short man of approximately 40 years of age, with the cause of death as advanced tuberculosis of the lungs. According to his female companion, he has been ill for some time. Our doctor also noted that he prisoner, unusually, had the hands of a life-long swordsman.
The prisoner was cremated as per all proper rituals and his female companion claimed his remains, saying that she wished to see to his proper placement. She then indicated that she would return home after completing her duties.
The temporary agent continued on to Shanghai and raised no objection to the woman’s wishes.
