Wildflower

For the many times I wasn’t there. For the years I’ve missed. What I think happened in between, of the woman I love and how proud I am of her. She truly is…

A Wildflower

She’s faced the hardest times
You can imagine
And many times her eyes
Fought back the tears
And when her youthful world
Was about to fall in
Each time her slender shoulders
Bore the weight of all her fears
And the sorrow that no one hears
Still rings in midnight silence
In her earsLet her cry
For she’s a lady
Let her dream
For she’s a child
Let the rain fall down upon her
She’s a free and gentle flower
Growing wild
And if by chance that I
Should hold her
Let me hold her
For a time
And if allowed but one possession
I will pick her from the garden
To be mine
Be careful how you touch her
For she’ll awaken
For sleep’s the only freedom
That she knows
And when you look into her eyes
You won’t believe
The way she’s always payin’
For a debt she never owes
And the silent wind still blows
That only she can hear
And so she goes
Let her cry
For she’s a lady
Let her dream
For she’s a child
Let the rain fall down upon her
She’s a free and gentle flower
Growing wild

  1. Hmmm… This version of the wolf (the one who just posted) indeed truly loved Yaso… Was his first true love after all, which is probably why you get that feeling because if ever I was to write a fic the theme would be something very similar though not the same experiences as this one is thinking.
LOL! Really this journal is just for the many many versions of the wolf I have in my head and the many many moods he’s in. I wanted someplace where I can be free and write whatever it is I want and wonder when I re-read it months later if I even recognize the renderings and rantings in this journal.
It’s not really for one pairing, for anyone in particular, for any definite purpose or for any universe. I figured as long as I know his core values are intact, I’ll try to write him with anyone, in any setting that I wish… It’s fun for me that way and it lets me discover some things I never knew was even possible. That’s probably why I treat this character almost like a living creature, this is why I named this journal Rantings of a Madman… But who truly is the crazy one? Probably moi. LOL.
