OOC Notes: Some more points…

What he wears:

Usually he wears his blue uniform and I’ve decided since Misao and Aoshi notices his shiny shiny boots(!), he’ll wear them all the time. He’ll have his gloves on while on duty otherwise it’s tuck in his pockets when he’s off duty, like at home or when he visits a local restaurant.
When he’s off duty and “outside”, he’d be wearing his white shirt and black pants.
At home he’s wearing again his black pants and either a white or black “T-shirt”.
He’s not going to be wearing a hakama or a kimono, unless he is “undercover”… And this Saitou might gradually interest himself with western goodies like coffee, different kinds of tobacco (i.e. cigars), modes of transportation and maybe even guns and artillery.
He ALWAYS has his katana whether strapped on his person or lying to his side, so BEWARE!
Last but no the least notice he never wear shorts! LOL!

His Relationships

This is not written in stone and if you would like to discuss how we should go about Saitou’s interaction with your own character please feel free to IM or e-mail me anytime. This is just what I think it is for now but of course will change as the story progresses.
Himura Kenshin – Fuji and I talked that this would be sometime right after the Jinchuu but not until Saitou decides not to come to settle the matter between him and Kenshin. So both of them still have unfinished business. Fuji and I agreed that we will talk before we take their “businesses” any further. For myself, since this is set before he decides to not fight anymore, I think it’s an excellent to develop Saitou’s character to accept certain things and grow “out” of his past.
Kamiya Kaoru – A woman who is not Saitou’s “taste”. He will most probably make “comments” to this young lady, but usually it’s for her own good… But Saitou can be tactless so… Anyway “battousai” please IM me whenever you feel Saitou has gone overboard or if you have questions.
Takani Megumi – Saitou admires this young lady. Since my version of Saitou is married to Tokio, in a weird way Megumi reminds him of Tokio and Aizu. Since RK Saitou’s history is spotchy at best, I’m going to be taking some small elements from the real mans history. Thus Aizu is important to Saitou and Megumi is from Aizu so he respects her (except maybe her falling for Kenshin), BUT this is RK Saitou we’re talking about so he’s pretty much misunderstood. LOL! This Saitou might even try to help Megumi find her family as they get to know each other.
Shinomori Aoshi – I believe Saitou has no deep feeling for Aoshi, not of hatred nor of fondness. Saitou is probably impressed with Aoshi’s skills (Saitou used him in the Shishio event) but may think that those skills are wasted when Aoshi became a recluse. Things will change of course depending on how the game progresses. Bee IM me if you need anything.
Makimachi Misao – The girl has spunk! What can I say? Saitou is easily amused by the Itachi and I think he’ll be a bit hard on the young lady because he sees potential yet Saitou is probably thinking Misao is a bit distracted by her feelings for Aoshi (and at this age who can blame her?), so that’s why he’ll say “things”. Misao I’m open for play so let me know how you want to proceed or if anything in this is bothering you.
Seta Soujirou – Okay this is a little tricky… Soujirou is still a wanted criminal right? Saitou might go after him just because he feels it’s his duty. Eventhough most have already forgiven Soujirou (and believe me Soujiro I like your character since I used to play him), the law is blind. Soujirou please IM me whenever so we can talk about how we proceed…
Yamazaki Ayu – Okay Sherl and I have talked… All I know is Saitou knows Ayu before as another spy of the Shinsengumi and Ayu “disappeared”, after they ran into each other a few times in the Shinsengumi compound. He never heard from her again. So basically Saitou does not think of her as a threat nor someone close.
Okita Souji – Well since this is the PMK Okita, I’m not really sure how close Okita and Saitou are. I know in RK they were purported to be very close but in PMK they are not as close. Either way Saitou is glad to see another one of the Shinsengumi survive the Bakumatsu, although he has too many questions. He’ll probably put his life on the line for Okita just like what I see in most RK fics but in PMK I’m not so sure as to the relationship. I think I need help here…
Yukishiro Enishi – Enishi is like Soujiro right, meaning he’s a wanted man? For those who are wanted by the law, I don’t really want to start out hunting for any of you until MUCH MUCH later. Would like the RPG to develop “in game” relationships first, so we don’t have misunderstandings and such.. And I love meiji-san so it’s going to take quite a “getting used to”. LOL! Meiji anytime you’re ready to talk. Before the game would be nice.
Saitou Tokio – He won’t admit it but this lady has him wrapped on her pinky… The only person he’ll definitely die saving. All others he’ll help out only when it’s for the common good of MANY. Hitomi and I still have to talk about their relationship but that won’t be until he decides to bring her into play.
Takasugi Shinsaku – Saitou knows him as dead. If he re-appears, he won’t go after him as I believe he was not branded as an outlaw. Although, he might harbor feelings of anomosity towards him because they fought on different sides. I don’t think they ever fought face to face, but news go around back then.. This cool Hitomi?
Again, nothing is set in stone and personally I want things to change a bit with Saitou as this game progresses but that won’t be for a long time.
