[21:12] hajime: *wolf waits at her garden in the afternoon* *wonders if she’ll come out*
[21:13] hide: *comes outside* *smiles* Hajime! *smiles wider* Mmm.. afternoon. *comes over to kiss him*
[21:14] mg_batt: *bends down to kiss her as well* Hmmm… I thought I’d take you away from your mundane writer. *tilts head and grins*
[21:15] hide: She’s scanning. It’s so very tedious. *grins* However, many are of you. So I take enjoyment from adding to my collection. *laughs and wraps her arms around his waist*
[21:16] hajime: Ah… I -thought – so. *lights a cigarette* In the afternoons I tend to take a stroll by the river side, care to join me today?
[21:17] hide: I would… *takes his arm* However this is much better than pictures. *kisses his cheek* Just so you know. *eyes gleam as she looks up at him*
[21:21] hajime: *walks her out the gate and nudges it closed behind them* *doesn’t seem to mind the hand on his arm, keeps on smoking as they walk downhill* I hope your writer will not make a big deal about you being out. *eyes scanning the surrounding where there seems to be people enjoying a leisurely walk just like them*
[21:23] hide: *shakes her head as she walks along* No. She won’t mind. *grins to herself* I will make -sure-. *smiles at him* But really, enough about -them-. How have you been? *squeezes his arm*
[21:26] hajime: *looks down at his arm where she’s squeezing, raises his eyebrow and chuckles* I’ve been fine. Much better than the past few days. *they cross the street and finally the river bank is in view* Hmm… It’s not quite spring yet. *looks at the trees lining the river side*
[21:29] hide: Much better. [21:32] hajime: *is rather taken aback by the very public display of affection* *clears his throat* I don’t know much about flowers. *takes her arm again and starts walking slowly, with their backs against the sun* What kind of flowers now have you planted in your garden?
[21:36] hide: *grins a little at him as he clears his throat* I will -behave-… *keeps her hand on his arm* Hmm… the usuals. Lillies, iris, hydranga… azaela and camellias and all -sorts- of things. *smiles* When we have time to find a little bit bigger place, perhaps I’ll have more room. I’d love to have a little pond.
[21:39] hajime: I would appreciate that. *flicks the stub of the cigarette away, places his right hand on top of hers that’s still holding on to his left arm* Hmmm… Well I still have to find us a place to settle into permanently. I’ll dig a little pond for you but you’ll have to clean it.

If it’s large enough, Makoto can keep a fish in there… *stops to look at the river, leaning her head slightly against his arm* We should go looking for a new house after you return from Aizu.
[21:50] hajime: *nods* Although I probably won’t be taking you out as much in public… *thinks: I really should’ve been more careful today. what was I thinking? a leisure stroll? ugh* *looks at the tulips* I didn’t think they were the type that you liked. They’re too “enclosed”. *looks surprised at her house suggestion, finds himself frowning but quickly catches it* Maybe… *changes the subject* Did you know that Makoto has taken to “patting” me?
[21:56] hide: *raises her eyebrows* I can behave. *smiles* I like it when you take me out. *wonders if what he said, and the frown and his answer, has more to do with other things than her “behavior”* I like about every sort of flowers. These are very bright… and besides, you gave me some, once, a long time ago, and said I have beautiful eyes. *laughs softly, remembering that day* *thinks* Makoto pats me too. It’s… it’s like a hug after she’s already laid down. *smiles* Right on the knee or hand, right? Someplace she can reach?
[22:01] hajime: I remember. *looks thoughtful, suddenly bends down and breaks off a tulip while no one was looking* Here’s another. *shoves it to her free hand with a grin* *whispers* See the lengths I have to go through for you? Why I just committed a crime! *they continue walking passing most of the flowers and stops by a big tree, stares at it then turns to look at the water* Initially, I thought it was a rather odd gesture and wondered where she had gotten it. I guess it’s fine. It was quite funny when she did that to my knee.
[22:06] hide: *smiles, her eyes sparkling in the afternoon sun* Thank you! *carries it so that most of it is covered by her sleeves* I won’t report you. It was for a good cause, after all. *looks at the water, then back at Hajime* Well she is -our- daughter. Like me, she’s very affectionate. Like you, she has her very own way of displaying it. *grins as she twirls the flower between her fingers*
[22:10] hajime: Ah… And here I thought all I have to put up with are women in my lap. *chuckles and lights another cig* *admires the water as they sparkle, then takes a look to his side, watching the sparkles reflected on Hide’s eyes* *a small almost imperceptible smile graces his lips, but he covers it up with a long drag on his cigarette* Let’s go. I’ll walk you home. *turns to leave*
[22:13] hide: In your lap… demanding to be carried upstairs… *grins* We are a troublesome bunch. *feels his eyes on her as she looks at the water, keeps her smile to herself* *takes his arm again* Is it time already? Afternoons always pass too quickly… but really, that’s nights, mornings… *laughs softly as they walk along the path*
[22:16] hajime: Well when the sun starts to set… It doesn’t take very long. Look it’s already getting dark. *walks with her across the street* Besides I just wanted you to get some exercise since you have a -lazy- woman with you. It’d be a shame to lose your womanly figure… *looks at her* By the way, what -does- she feed you?
[22:21] hide: When summer comes… we’ll have longer afternoons. *smiles* I work hard to keep this figure. *grins* And you as always, do you part to help me, which I appreaciate. *thinks of -appreciation-, grins wider* *makes a face* She -is- lazy… but tonight, there was rice. The wrong texture and covered in bizzare sauces… but at least I could recognize it. But I usually take to bringing something with me at all times. I have become a -master- at onigiri. *laughs* At least you get some form of soba… it just seems like she doesn’t bring you -enough- food. *sighs* If you have a moment, I’ll get a bento together for you when we get back to the house.
[22:24] hajime: Well onigiri makes for good kid lunches. It would be interesting what you’ll pack for the child. *chuckles as they go up the short hill* You probably should exercise some restraint when it comes to making us food. It always seems like you’re making for a family of ten. *they turn a corner and Hide’s house is in view* The ahou is eating out of frozen boxes lately… Initially I was worried but I must say they taste better than anything she has cooked herself. *grins at her as he opens the gates and lets her in*
[22:29] hide: Those frozen boxes have nothing on good, homemade food. *walks into the gates with him* Well you have to remember, I used to have to cook for a lot of very hungry men. *laughs* And by the time they left, I had two teenage boys to cook for, who seemed like they could out-eat the young men that had just left. So it’s a very -old- habit. I can make a lot, very well, from a little. *grins up at him* And besides, my ookami-sama has quite the appetite…
[22:32] hajime: Well I’ll leave the house chores to you. You know them the best. *closes the gate, then immediately pulls her against him by the waist* Your ookami-sama would like a kiss before he leaves… and -not- the kind by the river. *almost rolls his eyes and smirks*
[22:36] hide: That is the job of the wife. *smiles* And your wife-to-be loves taking care of those she loves. *wraps her arms around him, and tilts her head* Your hime needs one too… *stands up on her tiptoes, leaning against him, kissing that smirk until it softens, allowing her to engage him in a tender, loving kiss, as she wraps her senses around him… the taste of his lips, his scent, the warmth of him… *
[22:39] hajime: *indulges in the kiss, sweeping his tongue onto the rooftops of her mouth* *squeezes her waists and slowly lets her go* *grins as he licks his lips* Hmm… I’m glad you still remember how to… *doesn’t finish his sentence* *tips his hat* Well goodnight Hide. (ooc: you may close)
[22:41] hide: I may be old but not -that- old! *grins at him, laughing and squeezes him back. *lets go, asking him to wait as she runs into the house, returning with a bento* In case you get tired of frozen box meals! *kisses his cheek, and brushes the shoulders of his jacket with her hands to make sure his uniform is perfect* Take care, and goodnight.
