I'm trying to round up news as I know it about the newest Shinsengumi series, Hakuoki.

It will be a spring anime, from what I'm seeing.

There's also a manga running right now, along with some one-shots. I am trying to track these down to see if they'll be good projects, but if someone else is already working on them and you've seen it, please let me know.

For those of us who watched Bakumatsu Renka Shinsengumi come and go with such high hopes, this one seems to have much more power and push behind it... so we'll just have to see!

Hakuoki will be airing in APRIL in Japan, I've not found a specific date yet. The fansub group Yuuri-san Subs will be working on it.
